For those who wish to be cocooned in books, there's a special book shelf in Monterrey, Mexico just for you.

Conarte, Monterrey's council for art and culture, approached design studio Anagrama to create a unique way to store books in their library. They wanted a creative way to showcase the books that felt both modern and intimate. The result is a bookshelf that seems to hug the room; the books are kept on their sides instead of upright. This gives the illusion that the whole thing is wrapping around the room. Visitors can sit on the stairs to read after grabbing a book from the shelf.
