Your Favorite Scientists as Paper Dolls

Erin McCarthy /

If you’ve always wanted to play with your favorite scientists, now’s your chance. Mad Art Lab has just released a series of scientist paper dolls, featuring everyone from Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla to Ada Lovelace and Alan Turing.

The project began in 2011, when an artist named Steve came upon these Arrested Development paper dolls. He couldn’t find any similar ones for scientists, “so I suggested that maybe we at Mad Art Lab could try and make some,” he writes on the project page.

He started with Erwin Schrödinger, who comes with a cat and a box (obviously), and other artists soon began pitching in. In addition to the usual historical heavyweights, there are contemporary figures, too, including Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye, Jane Goodall, and Chris Hadfield. You can download the whole set here.
