The Unofficial State Cars of America

At first glance, it seems like car tastes don't really vary much from state to state: The majority of the map is going to show you a lot of Ford F-Series. Popular Mechanics decided to dig a little deeper and make a map that showed the most distinctive car favorite in each state. They turned to Tom Libby of IHS Automotive to help calculate the data. The result is a much more diverse map that shows what car in each state is disproportionately popular compared to the rest of the country.
