Watch Movie Posters Come to Life

Want to see a movie really come to life? L.A.-based director Pablo Fernández Eyre took posters for film favorites like E.T. (1982) and 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), along with the Japanese posters for Hayao Miyazaki’s Ponyo (2008) and Spirited Away (2001), David Lynch’s Eraserhead (1977), and more, and turned them into animated images, using the scenes in the films from which the posters were drawn. The trick allows the posters to come alive as living, moving extensions of the movies themselves, making even subtle posters like those from Drive (2011) or Lost in Translation (2003) entrancing.
