Taxi Company in Peru Outfits Cabs With Video Games

Andrew LaSane

New York City taxis may be phasing out their TV screens, but here's a good alternative for entertaining patrons: backseat video gaming. As part of the #GameCar project recently launched by Peru's Easy Taxi, ten cabs received the Pimp My Ride treatment, with large flat screens installed in the back of the driver's seat. The vehicles also include a Wii U console, complete with Mario Kart 8 and two controllers. This is the only scenario where a long cab ride would be ideal. Go for a ride with the YouTube video above.
