From speeding cars to dangerous dogs, the entire outside world is a battlefield for even the scrappiest of cats. However, if you have a 3D printer, you can create a suit of spiked armor for your warrior kitty.

Thingiverse user PrintThatThing created the cute protective gear, and made the design available for download online. It might not protect against all hazards, but it is 100% printable, and includes a leash hole, a nametag ring, and a “catnip holder.” Its prickly scorpion tail is also detachable—just in case your cat wants to chase its own tail instead.

Want your own cat armor, but don't own a 3D printer? PrintThatThing is asking subscribers to submit a matching helmet design via social media channels; the winner will receive his or her own suit—and endless gratitude from a fierce feline.
