It’s rare these days for most people to take their photos with an actual camera, let alone one with film, which makes it all that much richer to look back at the pre-digital era. This 1958 short documentary from Kodak called How Film is Made takes the viewer through the entire production process. The film is in Dutch—the source is unknown but it may have been used as an instructional and promotional video—but contains English subtitles so all that behind-the-scenes action will be perfectly in focus. Part one is above, and two down below.
