Austria-based artist Thomas Medicus has created a cube that displays six unique paintings, depending on what angle it's viewed from. By simply turning the object, you can watch the designs disassemble and reconnect to form a new design. Each painting can only be viewed from one perspective. The project, called Emergence Lab, is the combination of 216 acrylic glass strips, all individually painted. The cube offers six paintings—one for each side of the cube—with the three parallel designs aligning perfectly. The cube is filled with silicone oil to give it the look of a glass box.
