When you hear the line, “Space: the final frontier,” your mind is probably drawn to the world of fiction—but a series of posters from the creative studio at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory might just change that.

The recently released "Visions of the Future" designs are a continuation of the Exoplanet Travel Bureau poster series published by JPL last year. (The exploration program is, sadly, a fictional enterprise.)

The posters showcase a wonderful mix of retro designs and futuristic aspirations, playfully imagining a time when one might consider vacationing on Europa, an icy moon of Jupiter—“Discover Life Under The Ice” the poster beckons.

According to The Verge, the new set of colorful images was originally commissioned for a 2016 calendar for NASA staff, scientists, engineers, and government officials. If you’re not one of those lucky people, fear not: You can see and download all the gorgeous designs over at the JPL website.
