Kids of the '80s and '90s, rejoice: Your favorite citrus-y drink is likely making a comeback. According to Foodbeast, there's evidence that Hi-C is bringing back Ecto Cooler for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, which is set for release in July 2016.

The Coca-Cola Company acquired the Ecto Cooler trademark rights in September 2015, presumably to re-brand it as a tie-in product for the new movie. Then, a couple of days ago, a sample soda can of the new Ecto Cooler emerged on eBay (it's now going for more than $200), which seems to indicate Ecto Cooler will return later this year.

The original Ecto Cooler was introduced in 1987 as a tie-in with The Real Ghostbusters cartoon; it was rebranded in the early 2000s and discontinued completely a few years later.

There is no official word yet on when (or if) the new Ecto Cooler will be available. In the meantime, you can find a recipe for a DIY version here.
