McDonald’s Offers Cadbury Crème Egg McFlurries in Australia
By Rudie Obias

Spring is in the air and soon people around the world will be treated to seasonal milkshakes from McDonald’s. While Americans look forward to that first sip of an annual green Shamrock Shake, McDonald’s patrons in Australia will soon get to enjoy a Cadbury Crème Egg McFlurry. The white-and-yellow cream-filled chocolate eggs are popular Easter candies with adults and children alike in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, and also here in America.
Perhaps not unexpectedly, the Easter treat comes with a high sugar intake: once the Crème Eggs are mixed with vanilla soft-serve ice cream, each McFlurry contains a whopping 54.4 grams of sugar—more than twice the World Health Organization’s daily recommended limit for adults. The tasty treat retails for $4.80 in Australia. (Toothbrush not included.)
