Shoemakers Irregular Choice (known for their over-the-top Star Wars shoes) are back again with another pop culture-themed series: a line of shoes based on the 1951 movie Alice in Wonderland. The fun and creative footwear features bows, sequins, and even light up hearts. Each shoe is more elaborate than the last, with Alice herself making an appearance in the form of heels.
As Irregular Choice explained to Bored Panda, their biggest obstacle was abiding by Disney's rules. They had to stay rigidly faithful to the original movie, and avoid imagery from the book or other movies. Characters had to be designed to fit strict guidelines and proportions.
