Retro gamers don't have to settle for dusty, outdated consoles. Video game hardware manufacturer Analogue has created a limited-edition 24K gold-plated original NES for the 30th anniversary of the original The Legend of Zelda video game (which is also gold and comes included with the system).

Analogue is only selling 10 consoles, which are region-free to play both American NES and Japanese Famicom retro games. The system features four accessory ports that let you connect both classic controllers, or the NES Zapper to play games like Duck Hunt and Hogan’s Alley. You can also upgrade the gold NES with an HDMI adapter, so that you can play it on modern-day televisions.

About a year ago, Analogue released the original aluminum Nt console as a way for today’s gamers to experience Nintendo’s massive library of old-school NES and Famicom games in the highest quality possible. But the retro experience doesn’t come cheap; the 24K gold-plated NES will set you back a whopping $4999 (even more if you plan to purchase upgrades and/or accessories). Reserve one now on analogue.co.
