Disney’s Zootopia Is Full of Hidden Mickeys

Disney’s Zootopia has turned out to be one of this year’s biggest hits, having just surpassed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office. One of the film’s most unique elements is the humongous animal city itself, which is packed with numerous Easter eggs, pop culture references, and “Hidden Mickeys”—silhouettes of Mickey Mouse’s iconic head and mouse ears.
Given the city of Zootopia’s sprawling nature, it’s unlikely that viewers caught all of the Hidden Mickeys the first time around, so Disney is helping out. In celebration of the film’s Blu-ray and DVD release, the studio has put together a video highlighting a few of the Hidden Mickeys, which can be seen everywhere from in Officer Benjamin Clawhauser’s spots to under a baby stroller.
As far as Easter eggs, the animated movie is full of references to other Disney movies, including the Robin Hood-like appearance of Zootopia’s Nick Wilde, a pair of kids dressed up like Anna and Elsa from Frozen, and similarities to Tomorrowland in the design of Zootopia itself.
How many references can you spot? Zootopia is still in theaters, and comes out on Blu-ray and DVD today.
