Outback Steakhouse Introduces Loaded Bloomin' Onion
At some point in history, a gastronomic genius dreamed up a way to improve French fries by adding bacon and cheese. According to People, Outback Steakhouse (the chain that is more American than Australian) is expanding upon that idea by piling their Aussie cheese fries, bacon, and spicy ranch dressing on top of their most iconic menu item, the Bloomin' Onion.
The 2360-calorie Loaded Bloom is scheduled to land with a thud on menus on June 21. An Outback rep told People that "The new Aussie-tizer was inspired by Outback’s upcoming, limited time ‘Big Australia’ menu which features bigger, Aussie-sized portions" that will also debut at the restaurants in the near future, so you may want to begin to physically and mentally prepare yourself now.
