Here's Why Cats Like to Sleep in Funny Places

Ever wonder why your cat likes to lounge on the floor, even though you bought him a comfy cat bed? Or why he tends to steal your seat as soon as you stand up? These behaviors (and more) are demystified in the above video, created by illustrator Simon Tofield and animal behaviorist Nicky Trevorrow. The two run an animated series called "Simon's Cat Logic," in which Tofield explains why, exactly, felines act so funny. In this particular installment, Tofield explores cats' unusual sleeping habits.
