Japanese Artist Creates Tiny Worlds Within Bottles

Have you ever wished you had the whole world at your fingertips? Japanese artist Akinobu Izumi can make your dreams a reality: The Tokyo-based artist creates miniature landscapes enclosed in bottles.
Izumi, an architectural model designer by day and crafter by night, creates these intricate projects using clay, paper, and resin, among other materials. Packaged in bottles that are often less than an inch tall, the model landscapes capture a range of scenes from tropical islands to deep under the sea and cost about $27.
