'The Catcher in the Rye' Turns 65 Today

On July 16, 1951, J.D. Salinger's novel The Catcher in the Rye was first published. It quickly became a hit, and remains the best-selling novel not to be made into a movie. Today the book turns 65, and it's worth looking back on a story that has inspired generations.
