This Is What Happens to Your Blood After You Donate
Many blood donors know little about the fate of their blood once it leaves their bodies. As this video spotted by Mashable shows, each donation goes through a multi-step process before it’s ready for a new host.
The inside look at the blood donation industry comes from Sanquin, a nonprofit that’s been supplying blood to Dutch communities since 1998.
