For years, the levels and worlds of Super Mario World have been illustrated throughout elaborate 16-bit maps of Dinosaur Land and the Mushroom Kingdom. Now, the images from the classic Super Nintendo video game are making their way into the real world, in the form of themed transit maps.

According to Mashable, Chicago-based graphic designer Robert Bacon created a map of the London Underground public rapid transit system in the style of Super Mario World. He calls the map—featuring every subway station and route of Greater London as well as the surrounding areas—“one of the most complex maps that I've created and the very first with individual pixel landmarks like Big Ben or the London Eye."

And the collection isn't limited to areas across the pond. Robert Bacon also created Super Mario-themed transit maps for other major cities, including New York City, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Portland as well as Zelda-style maps for the Chicago Transit Authority. Each edition retails for between $25 to $40.
