Hungarian professor of architecture Ernö Rubik invented his eponymous Rubik’s Cube in 1974. Since then, the toy has stymied puzzle-lovers across the world. With six different-colored faces, each containing three squares by three, the 3D plaything is said to have 43 quintillion possible configurations. Some people have spent decades trying to solve it, but in the video above, which was created by YouTuber Mike Boyd and spotted by The Next Web, you can learn an algorithm that will help you crack the notoriously complex cube in only two minutes. Once you memorize it, all you'll need is some practice to finally beat the gadget that's challenged you since middle school.
