Harry Potter Bath Bomb Acts Like a Fizzy Sorting Hat

After Pottermore sorts you into Slytherin four times in a row, you may be tempted to find a different sorting hat method. This bath bomb isn’t necessarily the most accurate way for muggles to determine their Hogwarts house, but it’s one of the more creative ideas we’ve seen. According to Refinery29, all you need to do is drop it in water and watch the color that corresponds to your house fill the tub.

The Harry Potter Sorting Hat Bath Bomb was created by bath bomb artist (yes, that’s a thing) Rebecca Lynn. The product is plain white with four stripes—yellow for Hufflepuff, red for Gryffindor, blue for Ravenclaw, and green for Slytherin—marking the top. As the bomb dissolves in the water only one color comes through, thus dictating your hypothetical Hogwarts destiny.

Lynn has made a business out of giving beauty products a geeky spin. In the past she’s made bath bombs inspired by Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and Pokemon Go. Her limited supply of sorting hat bath bombs has sold out on eBay, but you can follow her on Instagram to stay up-to-date on all her pop culture-themed creations.
