See What Super Mario Bros. Looks Like as a Moving LEGO Set

The revamped NES now has some analog competition: YouTuber Jason Cichon has built a recreation of Super Mario Bros. made entirely with LEGOs. The colorful creation was spotted by Gizmodo.
The “screen” is a cutout in a large block of black LEGO pieces, and the infinite horizontal scroll of pixelated obstacles is rendered faithfully in bricks that rotate in and out of view like a model train, which is operated by a hand crank. Cichon built the recreation over the course of eight days, though Mario and Luigi haven’t made it into the system just yet.
