Here’s How to Get a Free Coffee at Starbucks This Week

February was a very good month for Starbucks lovers: Right around Valentine’s Day, photos of a bright, ombré iced beverage started invading people’s Instagram feeds (though baristas seem to be far less enthusiastic about making this “secret menu” item than their customers are about ordering it). Then, on Tuesday, the company debuted two new limited-time macchiatos—the hot Coconutmilk Mocha Macchiato, with white chocolate and caramel sauces, and the Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato. Now, in order to help promote these new (vegan-friendly) beverages, Starbucks is offering its customers a buy one get one free macchiato deal.

Dubbed “Meet for Macchiatos,” the five-day event will run from March 2 through March 6. Customers who order any sized macchiato between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.—hot or iced—will get a second drink free. So bring a friend, or come extra thirsty.
