Google’s Convenient New CAPTCHA Will Track Your Clicks
We want our websites and email accounts to be safe, convenient, and private, though sometimes we have to settle for two out of three. But Google has just announced a new invisible, convenient authentication system that works by following you around the Internet like a nosy little sibling.
This isn't a huge leap from Google’s current “No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA” system, which monitors how you move through a given website to see if you’re acting like a person. Then, the big test: checking a box that says “I am not a robot.”
But with the new algorithm, Google promises, you won’t even have to check a box, because they’ll already know everything they need to know about you.
