Even if you don't know his name, you probably spent a lot of your childhood with the works of Roger Hargreaves; his Mr. Men series of books was a useful and entertaining tool for learning adjectives and other reading basics. Now Doctor Who fans can relive those days with new Mr. Men books inspired by the cult British television show. The Dr. series focuses on all the Doctors who have starred in the show over the years.

The collection, which is done by Hargreaves's son, Adam, has a similar look and feel to the original Mr. Men books: simple, bold illustrations alongside short stories filled with little jokes from the show. The first line of books will feature the first, fourth, eleventh, and twelfth Doctors, and comes out in April. The second, seventh, eighth, and ninth Doctors will make their appearance in August.

You can pre-order these books on Penguin's website, or on Amazon (or here and here, for UK readers).
