Young adulthood can be a rough transition period. Finagling multiple vegetables onto your dinner plate might feel like a huge accomplishment when you’re 23 and living off cheap takeout, much less remembering to pay your taxes or back up your computer before it crashes. And unlike when you were in elementary school, nobody’s going to give you a gold star for it. But wouldn't that be great?

With I Adulted!: Stickers for Grown-Ups, Robb Pearlman does just that. “As an adult, you never get the recognition you so richly deserve for completing life’s most complicated tasks,” Pearlman writes in the book’s introduction. So he's prepared an assortment of colorful stickers that help you celebrate the tiniest, most banal of your accomplishments.

The sticker book comes with short guides to important life lessons, like stocking your kitchen, dealing with a boss, and making friends outside of school. And every step of the way, you can reward yourself for a job well done (or, at least, a job completed) with a motivational sticker. Because sometimes putting on pants really does feel like an accomplishment. If you manage a life goal Pearlman hasn't thought of, there are also fill-in-the-blank stickers so no moment goes unheralded—at least until you run out of stickers.

Go ahead, pat yourself on the back. No one else will.

I Adulted! is available for $8.
