If you’re a fan of television, it’s entirely possible to have experienced the wonders (and horrors) of high school twice over. That’s because a lot of coming-of-age series have used fictional schools to educate their fictional characters.
See if you can match the high school to the show it belongs to in the quiz below.
Sometimes, high schools can be a pivotal plot point without actually being a central location. In Breaking Bad, high school chemistry teacher Walter White finds a partner in crime via the student body at J.P. Wynne High: graduate Jesse Pinkman. (J.P. Wynne was the name of the elementary school attended by series creator Vince Gilligan.)
But the ultimate TV high school might be the real thing: Torrance High in Torrance, California, has doubled as fictional schools in Beverly Hills, 90210, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and dozens of other shows.
