Fans of HBO’s wildly successful series Game of Thrones have been waiting almost two (extremely long) years for a new episode, and that time finally arrived. The show’s eighth and final season premiered on Sunday, April 14 and already has fans watching it a second time to look for any details they might have missed.

Between the major reunions at Winterfell and Jon Snow finally learning the truth about his parents, the season premiere held nothing back in terms of drama and emotion. But there might have been a few moments that you missed on first watch—ones that could mean significant things for the episodes to come. Here are five of them. *Spoilers ahead*

1. The opening credits featured a new place.

Eagle-eyed fans were on the lookout for differences in this season’s intro, as the series is known to occasionally change up the elements. For the premiere, it marks the first time the map sequence was completely changed, as Vanity Fair reported. We see King’s Landing and Westeros, but there’s also a new spot featured: Last Hearth. As Last Hearth is close to the Wall, we can definitely expect to be visiting it for the first time this season.

2. the episode's opening mirrored the pilot's opening.

Fans were already told that the final season would feature several callbacks to season 1, and the first episode provided plenty of them. Specifically, when Jon and Daenerys arrive at Winterfell, we see a young boy climbing a tree, which was reminiscent of a young Bran Stark. The entire scene is quite similar to the Lannisters arriving at Winterfell in Game of Thrones's pilot episode. And just like in the pilot episode, the people of the North seems wary of these new arrivals.

3. Cersei was drinking wine (although she claims she’s pregnant).

Ever since Cersei told Jaime that she was pregnant, many fans have been convinced that it's all a lie—and she may have just confirmed that she is indeed faking it. Last season, after revealing that she was expecting, we saw Cersei—who loves a glass of vino—turning away any wine. But tonight, after sleeping with Euron Greyjoy, she had no hesitation about imbibing.

4. Tyrion might approve of Jon and daenerys's relationship after all.

The already-iconic season 7 scene that saw Bran telling Sam about Jon’s true parentage, all while Tyrion looked toward the room where Jon and Daenerys were consummating their relationship, made for an extremely awkward moment—especially since many viewers believe that Tyrion is in love with the Mother of Dragons. However, in the season premiere, Tyrion tells Varys and Davos that the pair makes “a handsome couple.” Was he trying to keep his cool, and hide his jealousy, or does he actually approve?

5. There might have been a reference to Ed Sheeran.

Season 7 of Game of Thrones featured a very random cameo from musician Ed Sheeran, who played a Lannister soldier Arya met while she was on her way to King’s Landing. While his appearance just seemed to be a one-off cameo, some viewers are convinced that there was a reference to him in season 8's premiere episode. In a scene that features Bronn getting intimate with a trio of ladies, the girls begin gossiping. One mentions a ginger named Eddie, explaining how he, “Came back with his face burnt right off. He's got no eyelids now.” There’s no way to confirm that’s Ed Sheeran they’re talking about, but some fans are convinced it was indeed a sly reference to the musician.
