When it comes to TV shows, the characters and their bonds often make them stand out. That’s certainly the case with siblings, as they create a dynamic that you can’t have with others. They have the same parents and home, but they still have different life experiences, and that adds to the drama and the fun.

But how well do you know the siblings on sitcoms? Can you name the show just by the name of the siblings? To make this a little harder, we’ve removed the surnames of the characters. After all, if we said the names Tanner or Geller, you’d likely immediately guess the show! So, here’s your quiz for the day:

How well did you do? If you scored 10/10, we’re impressed. This is a great time to brag to your friends and see how well they do!

Best and Most Memorable Siblings on TV

There have been some excellent siblings on TV over the years, and we skipped over many in the quiz simply because they were too obvious—or weren’t part of sitcoms. After all, we said that if we said “Winchester,” you would know the name of the siblings and the show. Well, with that show, you would have easily gotten it if we said “Sam and Dean,” too. Supernatural was all about the two brothers hunting demons, ghosts, monsters, and everything else that went bump in the night.

Following in the same vein, Charmed focused on three sisters. The thing that so many fans held onto was that they were sisters who happened to be witches, and not the other way around, bringing us Prue, Piper, and Phoebe to start. After Shannon Doherty was written out of the show, Prue was killed off to then lead to Paige becoming part of the series.

This Is Us fans are surely screaming right now, as they connected with Kevin, Kate, and Randall. “The Big Three” had an unusual story, but one that was filled with love and heart. It focused on the complexities of life, whether it was linked to adoption, adolescence, or parental loss, and while they would often find themselves at different points in their lives, they still came together as siblings.

Ross and Monica Gellar will also stand out for many as the best siblings on TV. They were complete opposites, yet they stuck together as much as they could. They were in each other’s lives from start to finish on the series, supporting failed marriages, difficult career decisions, and surprising news.
