While Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald turned out to be rather divisive among Harry Potter fans, true Potterheads have still been eagerly anticipating JK Rowling’s next project, whether it be another companion novel, a project under her pseudonym Robert Galbraith, or the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts series. Fortunately, they no longer have to wonder as Rowling has confirmed that she just finished writing Fantastic Beasts 3.

Taking to Twitter earlier today, the acclaimed author responded to a couple of fan messages, which is not unusual for the avid social media user. When one gushed about the second film, Rowling decided to share a bit of major information. “That's a very lovely thing to hear on the day I finish writing the next one,” she tweeted back.

Of course, the fan replies started flowing from there. Besides many messages of congratulations, Rowling was met with plenty of questions as to what we can expect from the third installment. When asked to describe the book in three words, the author simply said: "Answers are given."

While this obviously doesn’t tell us much about what will happen, fans can at least rest easy knowing that some of their most burning questions will be addressed. Which is fortunate, since we have a lot of them—like whether Dumbledore knows about Credence.

The first and second films in the series were released just two years apart, so we wouldn’t be surprised if filming on the third film begins next year, especially considering how fast Rowling churned out the book.

Although some people were disappointed with The Crimes of Grindelwald, we have high hopes that the third book—and film—will right any perceived wrongs.
