Between baking cookies, shopping for presents, and decorating the house, getting into the holiday spirit can take a lot of work. In 2020, Walmart is offering to take care of a couple steps for you. The retail company will deliver a live Christmas tree to your home and hang up your lights in time for the holidays, USA Today reports.
Opting for a live evergreen over an artificial one no longer requires a trip to a Christmas tree farm. After shopping for the tree you want by size and type online, Walmart will deliver it to your home during your preferred delivery window. Tree sizes range from 3 feet to 6 feet tall, with the smallest ones costing $55 and the largest going for $117.
Walmart can take care of another cumbersome task this holiday season, too. Instead of risking your wellness and sanity while hanging up string lights, you can hire someone else to install them for you. In partnership with Handy, Walmart will untangle your lights and hang them up outside your home. The only thing they won't do is supply the materials: You can either provide your own lights or purchase them when you book your service. Single-story house installations cost $129 and two-story homes cost $199.
The holidays may look different for many families in 2020, and Walmart wants to make getting into the festive spirit as safe and easy as possible. You can book their special holiday services through their website today.
