As star gymnast Simone Biles vaults her way through the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games this summer, some may be wondering how she got to be the most decorated female gymnast of all time. (Even before the Tokyo Games, Biles was at a record 30 Olympic and world medals.)

Proof comes in this video of her performance at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in June. In the footage, Biles is seen executing a triple-double (two backflips while twisting three times in the air) in extreme slow-motion. Incredibly, her ability is even more impressive when slowed down.

Biles began gymnastics at age 6, has performed through kidney stone pain, and has become so skilled she's actually had four gymnastics moves named after her. Fittingly, this one is known as the "Biles II."
