The pandemic turned many of us into bread makers and hobby enthusiasts. If one of your new favorite activities from the past year has been solving puzzles, but you wish there was a way to keep enjoying them after you're done, it’s time you met Jiggy Puzzles.
The company's founder, Kaylin Marcotte, used puzzles as a method to decompress each day after working at her stressful start-up job. She enjoyed the activity but thought the designs needed an update. So, she started her own jigsaw puzzle company to feature artwork by female artists, who receive a percentage of the profits. Since its launch in 2019, Jiggy Puzzles has aimed to create engaging and unique puzzles that you can display at home as works of art. In May 2021, the company was featured on Shark Tank and received $500,000 from Shark Mark Cuban.
Every summer and winter, Jiggy Puzzles releases a new collection, with 450- or 800-piece puzzles available starting at $40. Previous themes include ‘Tis the Season (a winter release) and Staycation, which was released in summer 2020. Currently, you can shop puzzles from the summer 2021 collection Wanderlust and the winter 2021 collection, North Star, as well as a collaboration collection with Anthropologie. Each puzzle is shipped in carbon-neutral packaging and comes with a reusable glass jar, a tube of puzzle glue, and a straight-edge tool, so you can turn your finished puzzle into a piece of artwork for your home.
If you want to keep building jigsaw puzzles on a regular basis, the Jiggy Puzzle Club offers delightful designs on a monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly basis, that can be delivered right to your doorstep. All the club membership starts at $29 per month, but if you pre-pay for the monthly plan, you can save five percent on a three-month subscription, 10 percent for the six-month subscription, and 15 percent for the annual subscription.
All Jiggy Puzzles are available through the brand’s website, where you can also sign up for the brand's emails and text messages to receive 10 percent off your first order and a chance to win a free puzzle.
