If only there were a way for ’90s kids to relive all their favorite pop culture memories. Something that involves more than watching reruns of Saved by the Bell; somewhere they could catch up with other like-minded nostalgists and maybe even meet a TV hero or two.
Those Millennial fantasies are about to become a reality. As Us Weekly reports, That’s 4 Entertainment is hosting the first-ever ’90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, between March 11 and March 13, 2022. The full schedule hasn’t been posted yet, but certain details have already been announced. You can expect a cosplay contest, a quiz competition, a slime machine, and a Spice Girls tribute featuring the group's original costumes. There will also, of course, be a replica of Friends’s iconic orange couch from Central Perk.
Many of the guests have been announced already, too. The stars who brought Sabrina the Teenage Witch’s Spellmans to life will be there—namely, Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina), Caroline Rhea (Hilda), and Beth Broderick (Zelda)—as will Nate Richert (Harvey) and Jenna Leigh Green (Libby). Former Boy Meets World cast members in attendance will include Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews), Matthew Lawrence (Jack Hunter), and Trina McGee (Angela Moore). Keep an eye out for the Winslows from Family Matters, too: Reginald VelJohnson (Carl), Jo Marie Payton (Harriette), Kellie Williams (Laura), and Darius McCrary (Eddie) are all on the list.
Christina Ricci, Neve Campbell, TLC’s T-Boz and Chilli, and other famous faces from the ’90s are slated to appear as well. You can find out more details and buy tickets to the convention here.
