Stranger Things Star Millie Bobby Brown Wants to Shave Her Head Again

When the hit Netflix show Stranger Things first came out, one of the main points of the marketing behind it was the instantly iconic and startling image of the then-unknown Millie Bobby Brown completely bare-headed. It was a defining aspect of the first season of the show and Brown has gone on record saying that shaving her head for the role, even at such a young age, was a powerful experience.

"The day ​I shaved my head was the most empowering moment of my whole life," she once shared on social media with a video of the shaving. "The last strand of hair cut off was the moment my whole face was on show and I couldn't hide behind my hair like I used to. As I looked in the mirror and realized I had one job to do. Inspire."

And now, with the third season of Stranger Things coming up and a starring role in Godzilla: King of the Monsters on the horizon, Brown is mulling over going through it all over again.

According to ​Teen Vogue, Brown recently posted a long-haired selfie to her Instagram story and captioned it, "Think I might grow my hair real long and then shave it off again ..."

The nature of the film industry means she can probably go ahead and shave it all off and then cover up her head with a wig if needed for a role, so the ball is very much in her court if she wants to bring back the iconic look.
