Some athletes injure themselves on the field of glory, sacrificing their body for the good of the team. And then there are these guys. See if you can match the unusual injury with the athlete.

Orlando Magic player Drew Gooden missed three games and had to go on an IV for antibiotics to cure this unusual ailment.

While picking up his lunch tray, San Diego Padres outfielder Ryan Klesko sustained this injury and had to sit out two games.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder and arachnaphobe Glenallen Hill had his sleep interrupted by a nightmare about spiders crawling over his body. He jumped out of bed, crashed into a glass table and fell down the stairs, sustaining this injury in the process.

Broncos quarterback Brian Griese missed a game in 2002 with this injury after he tripped over his dog on a flight of stairs.

After going to a motivational speaker in 1994, pitcher Steve Sparks tried to imitate the speaker's signature move - ripping a phone book in half. Sparks failed and put himself on the DL with this injury, costing him a chance to make the Milwaukee Brewers.

Villanova star Allan Ray got this after being poked going for a loose ball during the 2006 Big East Semifinals. He left the game and managed to reverse the injury in time to compete in the NCAA tournament.

This bizarre injury almost kept competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi out of the 2007 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. He overcame the affliction, though, and placed second.

Washington Redskins rookie LaRon Landry joined the defensive line to play paintball as a team building activity. Then he missed the first minicamp practice of 2007 because he had gotten this injury during the outing.

Minnesota Wild goalkeeper Manny Fernandez missed a game in 2005 with this injury, which he got while trying to dry his hair after a shower.

Newlywed Paulo Diogo, a footballer for the Swiss Servette FC, was celebrating a goal by jumping into the stands when his wedding band caught on a fence and he recieved this injury. As if that weren't enough, he then got a yellow card for excessive celebration.

Detroit Tigers relief pitcher Joel Zumaya almost cost his team a chance to make the World Series when he missed three games of the 2006 ALCS with this injury. Trainers originally pinned it on stress from too much pitching, but Zumaya later revealed it came from playing Guitar Hero.

While with the Toronto Blue Jays, Rickey Henderson got this after falling asleep on an icepack. He missed three games.

Boston Celtics player Tony Allen either wanted to show off or didn't hear the official's whistle. Either way, after a play was blown dead, Allen drove to the basket for a dunk and got this season-ending injury.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Sammy Sosa sat out a month of the 2004 season with this injury, which he got during a violent sneeze.
