Where Knowledge Junkies Get Their Fix
Because many of our high school readers are probably finishing up their college applications right now, let's see if you can guess where some notable people earned their undergraduate degrees. Today's focus is the media, because my TV was tuned to Morning Joe on MSNBC when I put this quiz together.

This quiz is quite simple. On the left, you'll be able to hear sound files of the drum intros to ten late-1960s hit songs, and you'll try match each clip by typing the corresponding number to the song in the right column. Play each tune by pressing the small yellow arrow. (NOTE: To be fair, we should say "percussion" rather than drums, as you may hear a tambourine or even a cowbell in there. Yes, we have the fever.) Good luck!

All-Star invites and MVP awards are nice, but you haven’t really made it as an athlete until you’ve written an autobiography detailing your rise to athletic glory. While some figures pick boring names like My Life (Magic Johnson), My Story (Bobby Knight), or The Sally and Tommy John Story (Sally and Tommy John), others come up with more inspired titles for their additions to the literary canon. Let’s see how well you know the words of your favorite jocks. Maybe you'll pick up a few holiday gift ideas along the way.

Forget your commemorative Pokemon/Sesame Street/NFL Editions. Real, American Monopoly is played on the classic board, with properties named after actual Atlantic City streets (besides, a Sesame Street game that sternly commands players to "GO TO JAIL" is just plain wrong). So raid your memory's game closet for all 28 properties, utilities, and railroads from 'original' Monopoly. No need to type "Avenue," "Place," or "Gardens" (but you do have to type "Railroad"). The clock starts when you key in your first answer. Good luck!
